The Roots - Dear God 2.0

Been loafing on posting this because I didn't want to use the artwork every other blog was using, but fuck it. This song is too dope to keep in my drafts for much longer. It's been 2 years since the last Roots album, and I, for one, think they're long overdue to put out some amazing acoustic instrumentals with the rhythmic ruminations of Black Thought. This new track, off the album 'How I Got Over' is entitled 'Dear God 2.0'. It's only fitting that a letter to God be posted on a website dedicated to letters. The track is pure piff, with Black Thought asking God questions about the direction of humanity, black people and spirituality at large.
