Word Lens

For all of you iPhone-using jet-setters, here's another reason that I'm slightly jealous that I don't have one. This new free app called Word Lens, in laymen's terms, is a visual translator. The Word Lens uses a technology called augmented reality to visually transpose translated text onto the iPhone screen. Things like this make me believe that we're not too far from virtual reality being a feasible thing. In fact, it's better off being seen than told.
